7 Months old and whole lot of other stuff!

7 months old! It's hard to believe Kinley turned our lives around just 7 months ago. At her 6 month apt she weighed in at 13lbs, 14 oz. and was 24 inches long. Here's a few of Kinley's tricks:
Clapping, waiving bye, sitting up, drinking (playing) with a sippy cup, eating "2"s food, dancing, saying dada constantly and mama only a few times, yelling and grunting, making all kinds of sounds that sound like uh huh, ya, gaga, naaa, baaaa, hugging and kissing (opening her mouth, sucking on you), standing against the couch and experiencing stranger danger- you're not my mommy. One milestone we are still working on: ROLLING OVER. Kinley is perfectly happy in one spot on the floor and if she can't reach her toy, that's ok. When she sits, she lunges toward a toy, but if she falls, she still doesn't have desire to roll over. She has been teething for what seems like months now. She's a stinking drool machine. She can soak a bib or a shirt in minutes and when she touches you, you will get slobbered on. But, no teeth yet!
She's in a new in-home day care and has adjusted very well. She's napping twice a day and having lot's of fun with her new sitter and 2 new friends. She spent a whole week with Grandma Mary Ann before she started the new sitter so that was nice. We're getting ready for our Florida trip next month and having fun buying her new sandals, sunglasses, swimsuits and clothes. I can't wait to take her to the beach. James and I are keeping busy with work. I started meeting with a group of professional Photographers and have met a lot of great people who are very willing to help and mentor. We are getting ready to form a business name and create a website. Having Kinley has given us even more drive to work toward our goals. Exciting stuff for us, but so busy!!
Thank you Grandma Leslie for the dress; it finally fits.
Our big girl thinks she has balance taken care of. Shortly after, she went down.
Sitting pretty as always.
Happy St. Patty's Day!
Daddy gets food everywhere when he does the feeding.

Such a big girl...until she gets in her high chair. Looks like Kinley is under the sea. I guess that's what it is like for a baby in the 9% for height.
Bath time is a lot different now. We now have books, toys, a new rubber duck to bathe in and we finally got bubbles too.
Slumber party in February with Aunt Fern and Lexi.
6 Months old! February 20th
Where did Batman go?
Kinley loves puppies. Savana brought her dog when we had Kinley's Christening and Kinley laughed and couldn't keep her eye off Batman. Yes, the dog's name is Batman.
We held Kinley's Christening on Feb. 14th. She did great and talked during the whole ceremony.
Jessica and Kinley posing with her new teddy for V-day.
We were so glad to have Grandma Leslie fly in for the Christening.
Grandma Mary Ann was there too.
Kinley had no problems smiling with her Nina and Nino - Savana & Chad.
Another family photo as I bite my lower lip.
She's one blessed girl. The father messed up the procedure of her Christening so she was dipped twice!
Great Aunt Gloria with Kinley. Sounds so old. Ha ha.
Jessica and Kinley. Or as James called Kinley, the butter turner.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Kinley, James and I did our first craft together. We took pictures of Kinley and then made homemade Valentine's Day cards for family. Kinley stamped them all with a print of her foot.
Kinley loved the feeling of her tutu. Thanks Susan! She was/is absolutely the cutest baby ever in all the photos we took that day.
Loves Squash! The bumbo has retired! Yeah.
Kinley's first birthday party was at Chucky Cheese for our cousin Justin's birthday in February.
Tell me you didn't forget my game tokens.
Starting off down the slide with Jessica. Eh..it was ok.
Warming up...
Stop, stop...the mouse is too much! I love em'!
Happy Birthday Justin!
We have noticed Kinley puts everything in her mouth that doesn't go there and NOTHING in her mouth that is supposed to go in her mouth. We put puffs on her tray and she picks them up and they stick to her hands as she tries to shake them off. She will not put them in her mouth.
Oh mom, enough with the pictures.
5 months old!! Jan. 20th
Uh, how did you make that water sound with your lip, Daddy?
There is a resemblance - bald spots!
Kinley's first sushi grill. mmmm!
My friend's little boy (Tommy) was at the house and kept wanting to hold Kinley. It was so cute! Tommy has a little brother coming in July and I think he'll be a good big brother.
More friends, Lydia and Sawyer fighting for a toy.
Teething!

Kinley is clapping and flapping. We were able to catch a clip of her going crazy.
