Kinley's curious look in the hospital

Kinley is finally in the Hizzy!

This is James and I figured it would take a miracle for me to become a blogger...and there is no bigger miracle than the birth of our baby girl Kinley! She was born at 9:00 on 8/20/09. Her stats are as follows: WT - 6lbs, 11oz, Length - 19 inches, cuteness factor - 100%! Now this was some experience. Everything went smoothly and mother did an excellent job during the C-section and now during recovery. I got great video of the actual birth...that I think I will just save as guilt folder for Kinley when she gets older. Thanks to everyone for their congratulations and support (especially to our friends and parents who have helped out more than anyone could ask).

Final photo - 39 weeks!

We go in tomorrow at 6:30am and will start the c-section at 8:30am. I'm so glad this is the last photo showing my growing belly. Our next photos will be of our little girl as she will finally be here. We are ready to meet her and I don't really think it's sunk in for me yet. Everyone is here for the birth but James' parents. They arrive sometime on Friday. This week was great as James and I were able to get final errands done, took naps (I did), watched movies, shopped. I sat on iTunes and James watched youtube videos one night. Now it's our final night and I'm sure I won't be sleeping much. I'm nervous and excited. But here we are about to have a family and start our new adventure. Stay tuned...

38 weeks

We decided as our Babymoon, we would head downtown for the weekend. Cubs were in town, so went to the game with friends and my sister on Friday night. It was pretty low key, but we got away from home.

Water Park

Colten wanted nothing to do with the sprinklers or the water. Each time we went near the water, Colten put a death grip on us.
